Phi Delta Lambda Endowed Scholarship
In 1996 NNU's Delta Chapter cast a vision toward endowing a scholarship for an NNU student during his or her senior year. Thanks to the generous support of our membership, our chapter's Phi Delta Lambda Scholarship was fully endowed in 2000 and our first award was granted the following year.
As of March 14, 2017, the sum of all gifts received to date for the Phi Delta Lambda Scholarship totaled $43,282, which enables us to offer a significant financial award every semester to a deserving student in his or her senior year. Since 2003, our chapter has awarded more than $16,800 in scholarship assistance to NNU students. As our funding balance continues to grow, so can our financial support for more students.
Award criteria for the scholarship is:
- A class ranking making the student eligible potentially for membership in Phi Delta Lambda upon graduation;
- Junior class standing;
- Consideration of financial need; and
- Nomination by chapter and/or financial aid officers.
We deeply appreciate the ongoing generosity of our members as we continue to grow this scholarship. Your contributions continue to empower NNU students toward achieving their dreams. Please consider making a recurring or one-time gift to our fund so we can support even more students in years to come.
